Ingmar Kamalagharan is a multi-disciplined creative and musician. His early musical life was spent as a drummer and song-writer; touring and releasing music with several original bands.
In parallel to life as a musician, Ingmar spent over 10 years working in live touring logistics and production for bands and comedians; including Razorlight, Imogen Heap, Steve Winwood, Tom Jones, Nik Kershaw, Alison Krauss, Ben Christophers, Brand New Heavies, Dave Stewart, Russell Howard, and most recently tour managing Dave Gorman. Highlights include production work on Dave Gorman's Modern Life is Goodish TV show, headline shows at the O2 Arena with Razorlight and Russel Howard, Royal Albert Hall with Imogen Heap, and receiving two industry awards for best sustainable and environmental project for Imogen Heap's Earth Day Project 2012.
Ingmar's passion for music turned towards producing and mixing when forming a production partnership with brother, Anil Sebastian, and producing their debut album Mesonoxian with collaborator Cherif Hashizume. This was released in 2017 on their homegrown label, Relative State Records, where it received critical acclaim:
“A gorgeous listen from start to finish...brave at every turn” Line of Best Fit
Ingmar is also a founding member and long time collaborator of London Contemporary Voices Choir, which was formed by brother Anil and Didier Rochard. As well as singing tenor, Ingmar continues to provide concert logistics, live and studio recording, mixing, video production / editing and photography.
Ingmar's latest projects include the follow up to Mesonoxian, Daffodil, which is an EP and short film by Anil Sebastian in association with the PRS Foundation. Also Guess Where I am; a short by Fairholme Films, where he performed the sound editing, mixing and sound design.
